bartender resume example

Lots of people want to get a bartending job but don't know how to go about doing it. Some patrons spend hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars on entertaining themselves and their friends.

You might have been to top hotel management schools to learn the secrets of drink recipes, but if you do not possess a pleasing personality, you are not likely to perceive the bar manager in the interview. Most of your fruity, tropical drinks taste much better with crushed ice. Ask how many years of experience the bartender has and of what kind.

Tend your bar with flair, and learn how to spin the bottle or slide glasses across the counter. People want someone that they can rely on, so if you know how to create their drinks of likings and do it fast, along with talking to them and having a few laughs, they will really grow to appreciate you and your bartending abilities. Bartending is an great job, but it's nowhere near the phenomenon that movies would have you believe.

When your day job slows down your bartending job will pick up. Bottom line it takes class, style, patiences and an excellent attitude.
