Every ingredient is important when trying to make the perfect mixed drink. It is nearly impossible to memorize every drink by heart but remember that all drinks fall into a certain category.
Bartending is just a small role in a bigger subject, which is places where people get together. A bartending job allows you to sculpt your own schedule to ensure you still have time for your hobbies, friends and family. Keeping bar staff happy might turn into a nightmare, but you have to do your best.
If you are on the bar blowing your whistle, I guarantee people will turn and look at you. Also you will be responsible for keeping the bar well supplied with all of the drinks that are in the menu. Having the days off made it easy to look for another job and my income didn't suffer at all because I was bartending at night.
As a matter of fact, bartending courses are now offered online. Bartending requires that you put your personality on display and you must do this in the interview.
