At some point in life, every person would admit to at least a peaked interest in becoming a bartender. Being a bartender does involvemany responsibilities.
It s great to learn hundreds of recipes but it is so much more than that, and I am going to explain to you what I am talking about. Bartending can have some challenging moments but overall, the different encounters you will have the opportunity to get on a daily or nightly basis and all of the appreciation your customers show to you, will make you feel really good at the end of the day. Another idea to bring down more people to your establishment, though it is employed by very few places, is to have a guest bartender come in one night a week.
There are many standard courses offered by bartending schools. Bartenders have to appear as gracious host and treat the clientele not as mere customers, but coveted guests. The words from the old song, quick with a joke and the light of a smoke, still apply to today s bartenders.
Bottom line it takes class, style, patiences and an excellent attitude. The list can go on an on as there are hundreds of things any bartender should know.
